Founder and CEO
Lekoumbou Wati Loic Joel
Lekoumbou Wati Loic Joel carries KmerLoop's strategic vision and guides its overall development. He works to build a reliable, accessible, and useful digital ecosystem designed for individuals, merchants, service providers, and businesses.
His role is to define the platform's major direction, drive growth, coordinate priorities, and make sure every improvement stays aligned with KmerLoop's mission: connecting local actors, simplifying exchanges, and supporting entrepreneurship in Cameroon and across Africa.
Through his leadership, he embodies the ambition to make KmerLoop a trusted local digital reference, built on confidence, innovation, proximity, and concrete impact for users.
How the work is organised
Rather than a fixed list of names, here are the roles that structure the team day to day. Some people wear several hats — that is normal for an agile team.
Product & platform
Design of flows (search, posting, account), technical improvements, performance, and accessibility so the site stays fast on mobile.
Trust & moderation
Reviewing reports, fighting scams, reminding everyone of community rules, and working with legal when needed.
User support
Help with listings, Mobile Money payments, and account issues. We try to handle every request with care, whether you are selling or buying.
Partnerships & content
Working with professional sellers, banners, communications around the product, and local initiatives to grow KmerLoop in Cameroon.
